Snowy Belgian Day

The weather has been much cooler this spring. It even snowed last night and into this morning, leaving about 3 inches of snow on the ground this morning. This was the first time Dylan has experienced snow, and the first time in years Ethan has seen it.

These are pictures of the street outside our house.

Happy Easter!

Well, this is our second Easter here in Belgium. It was quite cold this year, compared to last year. We even had snow fall late in the day! Luckily, the morning was clear and the boys were able to enjoy an egg hunt outside.

Grandpa Jim was in town and stayed with us for the weekend. The boys enjoyed their time with Grandpa.

We took advantage of Ethan having a Friday off from school and Dan being able to take leave on Thursday and Friday to head to Disneyland Paris for a few days. The weather was cool, but thankfully it only rained a little in the late afternoon.

The boys and I had fun...we always do. Dylan is old enough now to really enjoy his time there. He got a kick out of the characters and got a good laugh giving Goofy "high fives".

The crowds were light on Thursday and Friday, so we were able to get onto every attraction we wanted to ride...many multiple times. It was great! Ethan loved Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, the Tea Cups, and the Astro Orbitor. Dylan loved the Astro Orbitor, Buzz Lightyear, and Its a Small World.

We ate dinner one night at the Rainforest Cafe. The kids enjoyed dessert more than the meal!

I don't know when we may be back to Disneyland Paris, but hopefully we will get more more trip before we leave Europe.
